What is a cottage bakery?
According to Ohio's Department of Agriculture: "a person who, in the person’s home, produces food items that are not potentially hazardous foods, including bakery products, jams, jellies, candy, fruit butter, and similar products specified in rules. These foods must be labeled properly or they will be considered misbranded or adulterated."

Packaging
All our packaging is correct and up-to-date with The Ohio Department of Agriculture's guidelines for cottage bakeries. Indication of pets will be present on all packaging and warning for allergens.
Location
Little Cottage Bakery is ran out of our home but is NOT an in-home bakery which has different requirements. Staying a cottage bakery allows us the freedom to sell bakery while keeping our sweet puppies at home.
Pets
One key difference in requirements is the allowance of pets in the home. We do have pups but they are gated out of the kitchen during baking.
Preorder
We are preorder only at the moment until we gain enough interest to open a little stand. Please reach out via our contact form for further inquiries beyond our limited menu.
